What it is
Noblesse-E is a cordless dual-LED light curing unit for dental restorative work. A 7 W blue LED delivers up to 2,000 mW/cm² for curing, while a separate white chip LED provides 7,500 Lux of oral illumination for crack checking — so one handpiece covers both curing and inspection. Six curing modes and a 2,850 mAh battery good for over 1,200 cures per charge.
System components — Cordless handpiece, charging cradle (DC 5 V), 8 ø glass fibre optic light guide.
Indications
- Light curing of dental restorative materials
- Oral illumination during examination
- Crack checking with white LED
Key features
Six curing modes
Normal 10 s, Soft Start 10 s, Soft Start P 12 s, Pulse 10 s, Turbo 3 s and Turbo 5 s — selected from the mode button so the main modes are reachable without menu diving.
Dual light source in one handpiece
A 7 W blue dental LED for curing plus a separate white chip LED at 7,500 Lux for oral lighting and crack checking. No second instrument needed.
Battery built for a full clinic day
2,850 mAh lithium-ion, three-hour charge, and over 1,200 cures per charge in three-second turbo mode.
Aluminium body with OLED display
Aluminium external case in titanium finish for durability, with an OLED display behind a glass window that resists the chemicals used in an operatory.
Replaceable 8 ø fibre-optic guide
A glass fibre optic light guide of 8 mm diameter reaches teeth of varying size, and swaps out as a replacement part for easy cleaning.
The underlying principle
Photoinitiators in dental composite absorb light around 460 nm and start polymerisation. Output power and exposure time together determine depth of cure, which is why the mode set trades intensity against duration rather than offering a single setting.
Clearance & regulatory position
Bio-Med USA distributes FDA-cleared medical, aesthetic, surgical and dental devices. Clearance numbers, indications-for-use statements and the current regulatory position for Noblesse-E in your market are provided on request.
